Jordan's first shoe was the Air Jordan 1. He made it for his son Michael. He wanted to make an all black shoe with a red tongue and blue goo on it for him for Christmas in 1985. So, he took the design and sent it to Nike and they said they would make like 5000 pairs because no one thought it was going to sell well. On December 14, 1985, Jordan first wore No. 45 for the Chicago Bulls and became one of the NBA's most dominant players. He went on to win six NBA championships with the Bulls before moving to Washington Wizards in 2004.
